Our first day is possibly our most important day for those looking for real results. The goal is to avoid drinking anything other than tea or water for the day and hopefully for the entire challenge. That's because calories consumed through drinks add up extremely quick and have very little nutritional value. No other change will be as significant and helpful to reaching your goals.

To put this in perspective, water has zero calories (and a whole lot of health benefits as well). We have created a shortlist of common drinks below to compare, as well as how many steps you will need to take to burn them off:

Glass of Coke: 140 Calories (3111 steps)

Glass of Orange Juice: 111 Calories (2466 steps)

Middy of Beer: 104 Calories (2311 steps)

Coffee (with full cream milk): 98 Calories (2177 steps)

Our Slimming Tea (without milk): 2 Calories (44 Steps)

Water: 0 Calories (0 Steps)

That table illustrates just how much work is required to burn off your drinks which can easily be replaced with tea or water. We know from experience that the longer you avoid these drinks the easier the cravings become but for now lets just focus on doing it for a single day, you may be surprised with how different you feel in such a short time.
